The S.Agnese family farm, which covers about 170 acres in the upper Maremma, lies in a very peaceful position among the Metal bearing Hills of Tuscany. Surrounded by woods, unpolluted springs and streams, and wonderful landscapes, the estate is situated about 12 miles from the sea and a short-distance from the most famous archeological, cultural and artistic centers of Tuscany. So this place is particularly suitable for nature and art lovers.

A warm welcome awaits you at the Sant'Agnese farm house and you will feel immediately at home with the Filippeschi family. In this typical Tuscan farm house, with the home cured hams and sausages hanging from the rafters and the casks of home made wine, the grand chilren Tommaso and Alessia waiting to introduce you to the farm animals, you will find the true Tuscan farm atmosphere.

Grandpa Silvio and Grandma Licia will proudly take you to their rustic cottage, where you will be accomodated in recently modernized comfortable en suite bedrooms. Granny Licia is well known for her traditional Tuscan home-cooking and you can enjoy her wonderful meals in her spacious dining room with an open fire place.

tefano and his sister Stefania run a recognized equestrian center called Silverado Ridin Track.

There are riding lessons for beginners, English and American style. Stabling facilities are available also trekking and Cross Country riding.

To continue the Old West theme, there will be a Western style dinner with beer and tequila served every Saturday evening.

This is an ideal country estate for walking, trekking, fishing or picking wild mushrooms and asparagus. There is well equipped camp-sites for campers and tents. Outdoor adventure survival courses are also available.
